Zaha Hadid Design and Formani Present ELEEZ: A Fusion of Innovation,Sustainability, and Sculptural Elegance
Zaha Hadid Design (ZHD) and Formani proudly unveil ELEEZ, a striking collection of door handles and knobs that seamlessly blends sculptural aesthetics with functional sophistication. Designed with ZHD’s signature approach, ELEEZ transforms everyday hardware into dynamic architectural elements that elevate any interior.
Inspired by the fluid motion of a helix, the ELEEZ collection features sweeping, curvilinear forms that carve through the cylindrical surface of each handle. This creates a harmonious balance of geometric dynamism, structural solidity, and ergonomic ease. The collection reflects Formani’s dedication to precision craftsmanship and ZHD’s commitment to pushing the boundaries of design.
Sustainable Craftsmanship at Its Core
ELEEZ is meticulously crafted in recycled industrial steel, demonstrating a commitment to sustainability. At the end of its lifecycle, an average of 98% of each piece is fully recyclable, surpassing the efficiency of traditional manufacturing methods. The collection is produced through casting, a process that enhances recyclability while maintaining superior quality.
Additionally, PVD (Physical Vapour Deposition) is used in the finishing process—an advanced coating technology that improves durability without releasing harmful chemicals or generating hazardous waste. This ensures a longer product lifespan, reducing the need for frequentre placements and minimizing environmental impact.
A Collaboration of Shared Values
“Zaha Hadid Design finds a truly aligned collaborator in Formani—renowned for its commitment to quality, creativity, understatement, and sustainability,” states ZHD. The ELEEZ collection exemplifies this partnership, offering a selection of statement yet subtle hardware solutions designed to complement a wide range of interior styles.
With its sculptural fluidity, ergonomic precision, and sustainability-driven production, ELEEZ redefines the possibilities of contemporary hardware design.
