A brief summary of what you do
I began my career in the architectural ironmongery industry in 2000 at the age of 17 and have enjoyed working across a variety of roles ever since. For the past seven years, I have focused on access control and automatic door solutions, developing strong technical knowledge in this specialist area. At John Planck, I generate detailed quotations, carry out site surveys, provide hands-on technical assistance, and raise sales orders for projects within the Automatics team. My aim is to ensure every solution we deliver is practical, reliable, and designed to meet the unique needs of each client and project.

Favourite project or client
I value the diversity of projects I work on, from smaller refurbishments to large-scale commercial builds. Each brings a fresh set of challenges and opportunities to apply creative problem-solving. What I enjoy most is seeing a project through from the early stages of planning to the final installation and knowing the solution has made a real difference to the space.

Favourite product or finish
My go-to product is the Dorma ED100. It is a highly versatile operator that performs exceptionally well across the majority of projects I work on. Beyond its reliability, it also has a sleek, modern design that works beautifully for clients and interior designers who value aesthetics as much as functionality.
