A brief summary of what you do

As Business Development Manager I love to help customers and suppliers wherever I can, with an extensive background in the building industry, AI qualifications and Fire Door Inspection Scheme Diploma, it comes naturally! I do a bit of everything; from site visits, site surveys, estimating, scheduling and supplier negotiations for bespoke work. My favourite part of the job is speaking to potential new customers and finding practical solutions to their problems.

Favourite project or client you’ve worked with and why

One of my favourite projects is “Horseferry Road”, a project that included 129 high-end residential units.

Internally within the apartments the ironmongery was polished stainless steel utilising a version of the HAF Moscow lever design with softened edges – essentially making it a bespoke handle. The lever furniture was supplied in various configurations to allow for the different types of door operations within the apartments.

Externally the apartment doors had the same lever handles, this time fitted to an art deco stepped plate in a bronze finish. We also manufactured 3 full height bronze strips that were inlayed into the external face of the doors. All the pull handles, finger plates and fire door signage for the communal areas were in the bespoke bronze finish and the bespoke stepped design plates to match the lever handles. The communal way finding signage was bespoke as per the Interior Designers design with individual cut out letters and digits on a back plate with raised borders and concealed fixing. Floor designating signs had a similar design but with vertical strips to match the apartment entrance doors. All in all, it was a detailed specification that really paid off beautifully.
